Quantity Surveyor

As a result of their ongoing growth, they are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Manchester.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will assume the responsibility of overseeing the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring their timely completion while achieving favourable financial outcomes.

Responsibilities to include:

* Receiving handovers from the Estimating department to collect all cost information and quotations utilised in the tender process.
* Conducting reconciliation for Tender Cost Value and generating tender CVR reports.
* Initialising financial files for individual projects.
* Coordinating with clients to establish valuation dates.
* Assessing and valuing all variations, then submitting valuations to clients
* Performing cost value reconciliations.
* Handling submission and negotiation of final accounts.
* Coordinating orders with Sub-contractors.
* Providing instructions to Sub-contractors for variations.
* Participating in Sub-contractor meetings.

Requirements:

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
* Proven experience in quantity surveying or related field.
* Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
