Quantity Surveyor

My client are a family owned, specialist roofing and cladding contractor with over 20 years of experience in the industry. They have gained an excellent reputation for delivering high quality roofing and cladding services across the North West. Projects they work on include commercial, education, industrial, retail, education, and leisure.

They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team and contribute to a variety of exciting new projects across the North West.

The role:

* In this role, you'll work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, offering an ideal platform to grow and excel in your career within the field. Your responsibilities will encompass guaranteeing timely and budget-compliant project delivery, meticulously reviewing project expenses for precision, and rectifying any discrepancies. You'll be engaged in evaluating, negotiating, and ultimately finalising budgets and costs associated with project scope alterations. Furthermore, you'll play a vital role in crafting and managing procurement schedules, as well as meticulously preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works to facilitate accurate project pricing. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can hone your skills and contribute meaningfully to project success.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally within a similar industry.
* Proficient in analytical thinking and problem-solving
* Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
* Proven capacity to thrive in both independent and collaborative settings within a dynamic environment
