My client are a highly regarded, award-winning national building envelope contractor recognised for their expertise in cladding, facades, glazing, and rendering. They deliver projects across a diverse range of sectors including high rise residential and student accommodation developments. Their focus lies in delivering multi-faceted projects ranging from upgrading existing structures to handling complex multi-façade schemes.



As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the cost aspects of various projects. Your responsibilities will include cost estimation, procurement of materials, contract management, and budget control. This role offers the opportunity to work on prestigious developments and collaborate with a talented team of industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.
* Collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop cost-effective plans.
* Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
* Providing financial reports and updates to senior management.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel and project management tools.
* Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
