Project Manager

One of the UK's leading Building Contractors has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their North West team. The role will initially involve the delivery of a new build teaching facility in Manchester, so experience within this sector is desirable.

The Project Manager will be site based and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and completion of construction projects from start to finish. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership skills and exceptional project management abilities.

As the Project Lead, you will lead project teams with precision, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with project objectives and that tasks are delegated effectively. Your keen attention to detail will be crucial in identifying and mitigating potential risks, thereby safeguarding project progress and outcomes. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and facilitating clear communication throughout the project. Upholding compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations will be paramount under your leadership.

Knowledge skills andamp; experience

* Experience of successfully delivering projects circa £10m for main contractors
* Experience of Project Planning
* Strong leadership and people management skills;
* Strong Commercial awareness;
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Proficient in the use of Asta Power Project (preferred)
