My client are a specialist roofing and cladding contractor supplying and installing a wide range of roofing and cladding systems across the UK. They work on student accommodation, high-rise developments, industrial, education, healthcare, and leisure projects across the country.

Due to sustained growth and increased workload, they have an exciting opportunity for a Roofing Designer to join their dynamic team.

As a Roofing Designer, your role will involve:

* Designing roofing and cladding systems for projects across the UK.
* Conceptualising efficient and visually appealing designs.
* Conducting on-site evaluations to gauge project needs.
* Drafting plans and blueprints.
* Ensuring compliance with industry norms and regulations.

Requirements:

* Proficiency in industry-standard design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
* Solid grasp of roofing and cladding systems, along with construction methodologies
* Meticulous attention to detail for producing precise designs
* Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration
* Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
* Capacity to juggle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines
* Prior experience in construction, particularly in roofing and cladding design, is advantageous
