Role: Experienced Quantity Surveyor Location: Greater Manchester

Package: £50,000, Pension, Annual allowance of 27 days, and Incentive Scheme

Your Responsibilities:

* Manage and oversee the financial aspects of construction projects, including cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project progress and identify any potential issues or risks.
* Prepare and review contracts, tender documents, and procurement strategies.
* Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and agreements.
* Monitor and analyze project costs, variations, and valuations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
* Provide accurate and timely financial reporting and forecasting to senior management and stakeholders.
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying and construction management.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field.
* Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and construction estimating software.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required
