Grounds Maintenance Technician

BCUK is currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician in the Liverpool areas, as HMS principal recruiter.

HMS is one of the fastest-growing contractors, part of the Torus Housing Group based in Merseyside.

As a Grounds Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining public areas and ensuring they remain safe and aesthetically pleasing. BCUKHMS

Your duties will include:

* Landscape maintenance in public areas.
* Operating horticultural machinery such as hedge-cutters, strimmer's, ride-on, and pedestrian
* mowers, ensuring safe operation.
* Adhering to Health and Safety guidelines, following Risk Assessments, and actively
* identifying potential hazards to maintain a safe environment for staff and the public.
* Applying general horticultural principles to achieve high standards of work.
* Collaborating effectively as part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional results.
* Demonstrating excellent timekeeping abilities.

A successful candidate will possess:

* PA1 / PA6 - Required
* Ability to cut shrubs.
* Previous experience in landscape maintenance and working in public areas.
* Proficiency in operating horticultural machinery and a strong commitment to safety.
* An understanding of general horticultural principles.
* Proactive and cooperative team player.
* Outstanding time management skills.
* Full Clean Driving License
